The authors of the article draw attention to the fact that the training of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel in postgraduate courses should be focused on the formation of specialists not only as teachers-researchers, but also as teachers-educators, teachers-managers. In this regard, it is advisable to carry out educational activities taking into account the personal, professional, pedagogical and motivational components of the future teacher. The article presents some directions for solving problems of the effectiveness of training scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel in postgraduate courses using a competency-based approach.
