The article examines the shooting training system for employees of the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation from the point of view of its development trends. The content, organization and methodology of shooting training, the role and place of fire managers in the organization of this process are analyzed. In this case, the shooting director is presented as a subject implementing a pedagogical function, and the employee (cadet) is presented as a subject whose main property is the ability to take a certain position in relation to processes, events and phenomena.
