Abstract:
The article analyzes the Russian civilization. The author focused on its specific features. The key mechanism in the implementation of the functions of the central government is the implementation of the principle of universal service. Service as a moral and behavioral imperative of the entire population - from the peasant to the boyar. During the periods of Russian history, when capitalism became the leading mode, the capitalist social system was actually established as the dominant one, the principle of universal service could not be observed as contrary to the letter and spirit of capitalism, based on private life, private interest, private property, on the declaration of the prevalence of personal interests over public. Thus, capitalism undermines the sacred foundations of the central Russian government. The study was conducted from the standpoint of the historical approach and system analysis. Through consideration of the genesis and evolution of various aspects of Russian civilization, the author comes to the conclusion about its anti-capitalist nature.
