The article deals with the organization and implementation of security measures during mass events in primary physical culture groups. A comparative analysis of the regulations on ongoing competitions of various levels, which have a section regulating measures to ensure the safety of participants and spectators, is carried out. Typical situations associated with the possible infliction of physical, material, moral harm to the subjects of the event and the organization conducting it are identified. Methodological recommendations for ensuring safety during sporting events are proposed.
