Introduction. The article examines the influence of modern mass media, cinema and Internet platforms on the formation of deviant behavior in adolescents in the context of globalization and digitalization. It is emphasized that the media space currently contains factors that contribute to the spread of aggression, distortion of ideas about social norms, imitation of criminal behavior through the demonstration of negative images in films, video games, blogs, on social network pages. Methods. To achieve the goal of the study, the results of which are reflected in this article, the dialectical method of cognition of the surrounding reality was used, which involves a complete and comprehensive study of phenomena, consideration of the connections and contradictions between them. In addition, the following were used: content analysis of media products, formal-legal (dogmatic) method of studying legislative acts, statistical method of studying information on crimes committed by minors, and other methods. Results. The author comes to the conclusion that under the influence of negative content of Internet sites, social networks, and mass media, minors develop adrenaline addiction, which subsequently provokes their deviant behavior. The current situation requires stricter state control over minors' access to materials that can have a destructive effect on the psyche of adolescents. Initiatives for digital identification of Internet users, carried out in order to limit access to potentially harmful information, deserve support. Based on the results of the study, the author gives his own formulation of the concept of «insinuation»: this is the deliberate misleading of the audience by simulating violent actions. The social danger of public insinuation is emphasized, and it is proposed to criminalize acts of this kind, considering them as a form of dissemination of misinformation and violation of generally accepted social norms
