Value and legal foundations of Russian statehood in the context of modern principles and norms of international law

Abstract (English):
Introduction. At present, the need to harmonize the interaction of the value request of society and its legal embodiment has acquired special importance for the effective development of Russian civilization; it is a guarantee of activating the process of consolidation of Russians and ensuring state stability. The formation of the value request of any society is determined by the legal policy of the state, which influenced society at various historical stages, as well as by the processes of spiritual and moral transmission. Consequently, the conclusions obtained in the study of normative legal acts that make up the legal system of Russia, taking into account the historical aspect and modern circumstances, provide an opportunity to understand the qualitative state of the value request of Russian society in the context of the existing reality. At the same time, international normative legal acts are subject to study, which is associated with their global nature, influence on the formation of the domestic legal system, as well as the formation of uniform models of norms of behavior of states. Methods. The theoretical analysis of international normative legal acts that are part of the legal system of the Russian Federation, taking into account the historical aspect within the framework of a systems approach to the study made it possible to identify the basic elements of the value-based and legal structure of modern Russian society. The use of the axiological method of constructing a scientific theory made it possible to identify the provisions that form the value foundations of human civilization, extrapolate theoretical conclusions that point to the current problems of Russia's national security. Results. International normative legal acts integrated into the Russian legal system at various stages of its historical development influenced the qualitative state of the value demand of the population. In the course of the study conducted by the author of the article, key international legal provisions influencing the value-based and legal social orientation of Russians were identified and analyzed. Based on the data obtained, conclusions were formulated that have practical significance for the institutionalization of the value-based and legal core of modern Russian society
