The article provides an overview of the third international scientific-practical conference “Pedagogy and psychology in the activities of law enforcement officers: integration of theory and practice” held in October 2024. The conference is aimed at expanding and consolidating scientific international and interdepartmental cooperation, connecting specialists working in different spheres of psychological and pedagogical practice, discussing theoretical and practical developments in the field of moral and psychological activities of law enforcement officers. More than 200 people from 50 organisations from Russia and abroad took part in the conference, among them: representatives of the People's Police Academy of the Ministry of Public Security of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Academy of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Kostanai Academy of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Shrakbek Kabylbaev, Mogilev Institute of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Belarus, National Research Nuclear University “MEPhI”, Nizhny Novgorod State University named after N.I. Lobachevsky, St. Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, “Imaton” Institute of Practical Psychology, Chelyabinsk State University; representatives of educational organisations of the Ministry of the Interior of Russia, Ministry of Defence of Russia, Russian Federal Guard, Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, Ministry of Education of Russia, territorial bodies of the Ministry of the Interior and Federal Security Service of Russia. At the plenary session of the conference, reports and analyses characterising the current state of moral and psychological support of service activities of law enforcement officers of Russia and foreign countries were presented. The master-classes and round tables demonstrated positive experience in the implementation of modern psychological and pedagogical practices. The conference resulted in the discussion of academic and applied problems of introducing the theory of legal pedagogy and psychology into practice and strengthening scientific communications between law enforcement officers and educational organisations of law enforcement agencies, as well as the search for effective psychological and pedagogical forms and methods of training law enforcement officers. Following the results of the international scientific-practical conference, a resolution was formed and adopted.
