Abstract (English):
Introduction. One of the means of forming professional competencies among employees of the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation is fire training. At the moment, there is an urgent need for more focused training of employees of the internal affairs bodies to perform exercises of shooting from automatic weapons. For training firing from machine guns (submachine guns), field classes are organized. Development of the content of field classes (selection of exercises, sequence of their implementation, assessment procedure) will contribute to better professional training of employees. The article presents the results of a scientific and pedagogical study aimed at developing the content of field exercises in fire training. Methods. During the study, the analysis of literary sources, video materials, regulations was carried out, the selection of preparatory exercises was carried out, pedagogical observation was carried out, methods of mathematical statistics were used. Results. Methods of mathematical statistics made it possible to determine the positive impact of the developed content of field exercises in fire training on the shooting results of employees of the internal affairs bodies, cadets studying in the educational organization of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
