The article discusses issues related to the problems of developing and improving the skills of high-speed shooting from a Makarov pistol in the conditions of the educational process of educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The stages of formation of the motor skill necessary for confident high-speed shooting from a Makarov pistol are presented, as well as the possibility of developing its resistance to disruptive factors. It is concluded that the complex use of knocking factors is one of the most effective means of improving high-speed shooting from a Makarov pistol. The influence of the confusing factor forces the shooter to concentrate more on the accuracy of his actions in order to perform them with better quality or with minimal defects.
