Abstract:
In the article, the author discusses the need to search for ideological guidelines for the state and legal development of the Russian Federation in order to preserve national identity and sovereignty. Based on the results of the analysis of the stages of formation of ideology, foreign constitutional and legal experience of consolidating ideology at the legislative level, it was concluded that the Constitution of Russia may well become the act that at the highest level will consolidate the main value guidelines for building the life of society (including public law sphere).
