The article presents some results of a study of the possibilities of using blockchain technology in police work. Examples of the use of blockchain in various areas of police activity are considered, such as personal data management, control over the circulation of drugs and other prohibited substances, traffic monitoring, and the fight against cybercrime. The authors note that by storing data on the blockchain, it becomes possible to increase the protection of the confidentiality of personal information, ensure transparency and efficiency of police work, and prevent fraud and corruption. It is emphasized that the use of blockchain can contribute to increasing the efficiency of police activities and ensuring a greater degree of security for citizens.
