Abstract:
The article presents some results of a study of the activities of operational units of internal affairs bodies in predicting illegal occurrences. The possibilities of recognizing the probable criminal behavior of persons of operational interest are considered. The need to develop and implement predictive analytics methods is pointed out. With its help, probable options for the development of behavior of a person of operational interest, events, phenomena, the possibility of committing a crime, and areas of preventive work can be established, which contributes to the timely start of operational development.
