Abstract:
The article discusses some key concepts of the Federal Law «On Weapons». Attention is drawn to the problems of legislative regulation of the ban on the circulation of rifled firearms manufactured for cartridges for smooth-bore firearms. The situation of the simultaneous presence in circulation of rifled and smooth-bore firearms manufactured for the same types of cartridges is analyzed, which leads to the impossibility of determining the type of firearm for which these cartridges are intended, which leads to difficulties in assessing the illegal act.
