Abstract:
In the article, the author makes an attempt, based on the results of studying foreign and international regulatory legal acts, to determine the main trends that are currently manifesting themselves in activities to combat sexual assault against minors. As part of the consideration of these trends, Russian and foreign criminal legislation in the field of protecting the rights of minors is compared in order to identify the compliance of legal norms with these trends. Attention is drawn to the relevance of the fight against sexual assault on minors. Examples from historical domestic experience of such activities and scientific research on relevant topics are presented.
